Julia Freeman

Special Projects Manager

Julia F. Freeman, a native of Florida, was hired in 1994, initially as assistant to Scott Johnson. She became FAIA’s Special Projects Manager in 2003. Her primary responsibilities include production of the Agents Confidential, serving as the Trusted Choice® staff liaison, working with FAIA’s Pay It Forward Task Force, and proofreading and editing. For FAIA, she edited From Cartels to Competition, FAIA’s centennial history tome, and the Winds of Change.

Currently, she resides in Gainesville, FL, with her husband, Charles. She holds three degrees in music: a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University, a Master of Church Music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Florida State University. In her free time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, saltwater fishing, watching baseball, and working puzzles.
