Proactively develop, submit, introduce, or support any legislation directly or indirectly pertaining to insurance of benefit to the profession and to the insuring public.
Vigorously oppose by all available and proper means any legislation inimical to the interests of the public or the industry. These actions should be both in the Florida Legislature and in the United States Congress as directed by the FAIA Board.
Encourage and inform local boards on responsible political involvement, which specifically includes the need for participation in IMPACT, FAIAPAC, and InsurPac. Council members agree to participate in FAIA's and IIABA's political action committees.
