Under the direction of the Executive Secretary, to perform duties relative to development, maintenance, and production necessary for a viable and profitable organization.

Action Steps

  1. Type correspondence reports, and memos and maintain follow-up files. 
  2. Take phone messages and, when applicable, follow up on inquiries. 
  3. Maintain agency library and update when necessary. 
  4. Maintain agency contracts and licenses with other carriers. 
  5. Maintain solicitor licenses and renewals and update when necessary. 
  6. Schedule solicitors and/or agency staff for state license examinations. 
  7. Type proposals and surveys as needed for new accounts. 
  8. Serve as central order point for business cards, materials, books, and so on, as necessary for agency information and prospecting. 
  9. Issue bulletins to staff and producers regarding meetings, classes, and changes in agency procedures. 
  10. Complete projects assigned by the Executive Secretary. 
  11. Participate in seminars and classes for knowledge and skill development. 
  12. Perform other duties as assigned. 


Authority is delegated by the Executive Secretary and/or Agency Manager.

  1. Submit required reports to management in a timely manner. 
  2. Adhere to and comply with established agency procedures. 
  3. Adhere to performance standards. 
  4. Provide backup support for the Executive Secretary.
