FAIA's Young Agents Council believes in strength through involvement and offers opportunities for young agents to develop leadership skills, participate in legislative issues, train for sales and management needs, and communicate ideas with highly motivated, sharp minded people. Young Agents are very involved in FAIA's signature events, and hold several of their own:

• Young Agent-sponsored and organized golf tournament at Convention
• Wednesday night reception at Convention
• Friday invitation only luncheon at Convention
• Leadership forums 
• Zone networking events  

Membership Eligibility

• Membership is open to all who are under age 40 or who have been in the insurance industry fewer than 10 years, licensed or not.
• Members are employed by FAIA agency or associate members in good standing
• Annual dues payments of $50, plus a suggested $25 FAIAPAC contribution.

Membership Expectations

• Provide input on current and future Council projects
• Participate at local Zone events
• Participate in Council-specific events during FAIA events, including the Convention, Planning Session, and the Legislative Fly-In 
• Assist in the perpetuation of the industry through career day events at local universities and community colleges or through InVEST
