In booking meeting facilities FAIA must guarantee the number of participants to the hotel and reserve a room appropriate in size. When students register late, or register and don't attend the class, additional costs associated with changing rooms, overnight shipping of books, and cancellation penalties for classes are incurred, resulting in increased costs for future classes. Any refund or transfer must be resolved
within 30 days of the class date.

| Online/Early Tuition
| Reduced tuition when member uses our online registration feature from our home page at www.faia.com. This feature is only available up to the Friday morning before the following week's classes. After that time, the regular tuition rate will be in effect. Your name may not appear on the printed roster after that time, but please go ahead and register via fax or US mail!

Online classes: Once a student begins an online course, refunds will be prorated based on percentage of completion of the course according to computer records, less a 10% processing fee. After 50% of the course is completed, no refunds are available. Transfers to a different student are not available for online classes. If a student wishes to extend the time needed to complete an online course they may do so one time up to 30 days past the expiration date of the course. Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of management in cases of medical or family emergencies.
