Hosting and EmailsBack To Technology HomeHosting Services -Currently, over 80 FAIA member web sites and our homepage, www.faia.com are hosted internally on a dedicated T1 circuit. We possess the ability to develop and host many additional sites within the existing parameters of our equipment. Should we exceed this capacity in the future, our system is scalable and the necessary equipment/software could easily be added. FAIA has two dedicated web servers that are mirrored for load balancing and redundancy, and backups are performed each evening and stored off site. Additionally, we possess a generator backup capable of powering our servers (tested under load) online indefinitely should we suffer a power failure. All of our servers are housed behind an Enterprise Watchguard firewall and we have unlimited email account licenses available per domain using a Merak Mail Server for our SMTP and POP3 email offerings. FAIA produces professional, agency-specific web sites (Portfolio) that can incorporate additional functionality such as Flash, some Cold Fusion programming, scripting, etc. Obviously, we do not claim to be all things to all of our members and some agencies may have needs that extend beyond our talent and resources. We do, however, serve as a solid provider for those agencies in the beginning or intermediate phase of establishing their web presence. We pride ourselves on reliability and consistency and offer superb, industry-specific guidance for agencies seeking greater utility of their site. Email Services -A professional image is vital ingredient to any successful business, especially in today's highly competitive insurance industry. FAIA can help project your company's professional image through the use of a personalized corporate e-mail address. A personalized corporate e-mail address is a great way to advertise your company's name with every e-mail you send. We will create e-mail addresses for you and your employees that incorporate your employee name in conjunction with your company's name. For example, james@pattoninsurance.com or jessica@pattoninsurance.com. Doesn't that sound a lot more professional than james@hotmail.com orjessica@aol.com? We will also provide your agency with a corporate splash page at your companies very own World Wide Web domain address, i.e. www.pattoninsurance.com. On this splash page we will display your company's contact information. More and more people every day turn to the internet as their primary tool when searching for information and this is a great way to make sure your company's contact information is available to this growing demographic.
