Certified Customer Service Representative

Course Description
Note: Registration is available 30-45 days prior to the class date.

So you want to be a Certified Customer Service Representative. Good for your agency . . . good for you!
FAIA has a solution to the age-old problem of how to get someone licensed as a customer representative and having them trained in the basics of insurance when they start work. It's our Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) program. For years we have offered the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) program. That course is now available only online. While online learning is suited for some, many prefer a live presentation with a knowledgeable instructor there to answer questions. That's where the CCSR program comes in.
The CCSR course has been carefully designed to fully comply with Department of Insurance rules requiring pre-licensing designation courses to be 40 hours in length. Attendees leave the course with a broad knowledge of almost all aspects of insurance, including but not limited to:

• Personal Auto
• Business auto
• Garage
• Homeowners
• Dwelling
• Flood

• Commercial Property
• General Liability
• Workers Compensation
• Bonds
• Inland Marine
• Florida Laws

The beauty of the CCSR designation is that people who earn it can receive the Florida Customer Representative (4-40) license without having to take the state exam. Once the student successfully completes our 40-hour course they receive a letter awarding the designation. By presenting that letter to the state (an application and fees to the state are required) they are granted the Customer Representative license without having to take that onerous state exam.
As with all FAIA classes, our instructors are knowledgeable, thorough, and entertaining. All of our staff instructors have many years of agency experience under their belt so they can provide real world examples to illustrate points.
The course fee includes the textbook, instruction, CCSR testing fees, and the certificate. Travel, lodging, and Department of Insurance fees are not included in the registration fee. To earn the designation students must attend all five days of the program and pass our course exam. This course is not approved for continuing education credit.

Important licensing fact!

When you become a CCSR , you automatically become eligible for the Florida 4-40 CR license, without having to take the state CR license exam. To actually get your 4-40 license, you still must apply to the Department of Insurance, get fingerprinted and have a photo I.D. made. If you don't apply, you won't get your license!
