How to Register for a Webinar


As you know, FAIA recently began presenting classes in a Webinar format in order to better serve the needs of our members. Webinars eliminate travel costs as well as time spent away from the office. The response to these classes has been overwhelming.

Instructions for your TWO STEP registration process for webinars

We must rely on you to fully complete the TWO-STEP registration process to participate in our Webinars. Both steps should be done in advance of the date of the webinar, please.

In order to ensure that you are able to participate in any FAIA Webinar, please be sure that you have followed directions as outlined below. Also, please call us well ahead of time with any questions that you may have, as you will not be able to participate in the Webinar if we have not received and processed your payment and/or you have not registered with GoToMeeting.com. Our telephone number is (850) 893-4155. Please ask to speak to someone in the education department should you require assistance.

TWO STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS:

1. First, you must register and pay for the class through FAIA.
To register, go to our Events page, locate the Webinar you would like to register for, and then click on it. If you are an FAIA member, you can register online (Click the Register button) or send in the printable registration form (Click the Brochure button.) Nonmembers of FAIA are not eligible to register online; you may use the printable registration form.

Please register as far in advance as possible in order to give us time to process your payment. You will receive confirmation of your online payment; however, your registration is NOT complete until you follow the instructions below in step 2.

2. Second, you will need to register with our Webinar provider, GoToWebinar.com "GoToWebinar" at this link . You will receive several emails from GoToWebinar. The first email will come the day that you register. It includes a link to use to join the Webinar as well as a reminder of the date and time of the event. You will receive other emails prior to the date of the class that serve as a reminder of the event. These emails also include the link to join the Webinar.

NOTE: If you don't see these emails from GoToWebinar, please check your spam folders. We found out from several students during our first Webinar that these emails were being blocked or sorted out in their spam folders.
