The personal umbrella policy is among the best tools for filling in auto, homeowners, and other personal policy coverage gaps. So why aren’t PUPs recommended more often?
If the “hassle” factor is part of the reason, FAIA Preferred Provider RLI recently revamped its agent portal technology to create a consistent, end-to-end, service-focused experience for producers. No more hassle!
The portal is the result of extensive user research and customer feedback. RLI asked agents and producers about their preferences and ideas, then used that information to design a new self-service experience just for them.
Some of the changes that producers experience on the new site include:
- A modern, clean and simple design and navigation, allowing agents to quickly find what they're looking for and act fast.
- One point of access to manage RLI business using a single login.
- New features such as enhanced site search, form and marketing materials, emailing capabilities, and other self-service tools that make it easier to complete key tasks.
- A personal profile with a quick view of the products and agencies producers are authorized to represent.
Future enhancements are coming soon.
If you’re an RLI sub-producer, check out the new portal. If you’re not an RLI sub-producer, what are you waiting for? Producers earn 10 percent commission on new and renewal business, and writing RLI business counts toward your agency’s potential Utilization Bonus.
