Back by popular demand, FAIA is hosting another eSummit from March 21 through 23, offering four new virtual classes and up to 10 hours of continuing education (CE) credits. In partnership with the Agents and Brokers Education Network (ABEN), we will be bringing the same quality content you have come to expect from our education team right to your screen, wherever that might be.
This virtual event features two days of CE breakouts, and a third bonus day to help you catch any sessions you may have missed. Registration is FREE for FAIA members, who can receive up to 10 hours of CE if they attend all sessions. Non-member registration is $299.
Note: Registering for the eSummit will give you access to all three days of content and you can choose to attend one, some, or all of the sessions.

E&O 2023: Managing the Ups and Downs: … Tips … Topics … and Must Dos

Join Keith Jones as he discusses tips, topics, and must-dos in our annual four-hour errors and omissions class. The session will examine the last five years of actual claims data and trends. The session will also offer an examination of current trends and legal concepts will lead to reexamining the usage of disclaimers and checklists, along with reminders on common problems and proper agency procedures.
Then, Keith will look at internal and external considerations, the need to reevaluate limits, how to handle potential problem issues before they mature into a claim and some sage, real-time advice from a defense attorney will follow. The final portion of the session will be a review of some real E&O claims from around the county, with you helping decide what was the mistake and how could it have been prevented.
