Speaker Bios

Dre Baldwin, Founder, Work on Your Game, Inc.

Dre Baldwin is a professional basketball player turned entrepreneur, author, speaker, and business coach and consultant.

He's a Work on Your Game expert because he's been doing just that all of his life. A late bloomer, he sat the end of his high school varsity bench as a senior, but five years later, he started what become a 9-year professional basketball playing career.

Dre now teaches mental toughness, self-confidence and self-discipline to athletes, entrepreneurs and business professionals.

He's published 14 books, presented three TED Talks, and now a produces a ppular daily podcast, Work on Your Game, that is ranked in iTunes Top 100 Education broadcasts. A Philadelphia native and Penn State alum, Dre lives in Miami.

Chris Boggs, Executive Director, IIABA Virtual University

Chris joined the Big “I” team in November 2016. His current duties involve researching, writing, and teaching property and casualty insurance coverages and concepts to Big "I" members and others in the insurance industry.
 

During his 27-year insurance career, Chris has authored nearly 500 insurance and risk management-related articles on a wide range of topics as diverse as Credit Default Swap and enterprise risk management. Additionally, Boggs has written 13 insurance and risk management books. His professional background includes work as a risk management consultant, loss control representative, producer, claims manager, journalist and columnist, and quality assurance specialist.

 

Jeffrey C. Graham, Director of Distribution Development and Effectiveness, Travelers

Jeff brings his 29 years of personal insurance field sales and producer development experience to his work with independent agents. With national responsibility for the delivery of agency operations and sales development workshops, he works with agency personnel and owners on addressing internal infrastructure inefficiencies and provides guidance to establish procedures that will improve the overall effectiveness of agency performance in areas including job design, workflow, compensation, and marketing strategy

At Travelers he assists in the development of the Field Sales Organization by facilitating workshops for New Hire Training classes for Travelers Insurance Company’s Sales Executives.

Kelly Donahue-Piro, President & Founder, Agency Performance Partners

Kelly Donahue-Piro is a no-nonsense effectiveness expert who has helped hundreds of insurance agencies identify and capitalize on sustainable improvement opportunities.

Her specialties include agency culture assessment and change; management and supervisory coaching and benchmarking; customer retention strategy development; digital marketing strategy, planning and implementation; and sales planning, management and skill-building.

In 2014, she created Agency Performance Partners with a mission to “partner with insurance entrepreneurs who dream to take their business to the next level and beyond, by relentlessly pursuing excellence in world-class service and sales strategies.”

 

Nate Ginter, Chief Technology Officer, VineIT

Nate is Vine IT's senior services architect. He has worked extensively in many sectors of the IT industry with a strong focus on security. He has performed risk and vulnerability analysis for organizations of all scopes including major hospitals, law firms, insurance agencies, and title companies.

Nate maintains multiple certifications in security, engineering, and project management from Microsoft, CompTIA, Dell, and other industry leaders.

Tim Parenti, Sr. Vice President, FIRST Insurance Funding

Tim began his career with Allstate as a senior manager overseeing Operations, Customer Service, Information Technology, and Training.  He went on to lead one of the world’s premier consulting and training organizations with operations in over 50 countries around the world. In addition to sales, Tim was involved in the research, design, and facilitation of material designed to improve the overall ability, performance, and productivity of hundreds of organizations in a variety of different industry concentrations.

Tim’s strengths lie in helping address the real challenges that confront businesses on a daily basis. Using a combination of solid illustrations coupled with his high energy, Tim breaks down the strategy and psychology of the material and makes it easy to apply in everyday situations.

Doug VanDyke, CEO, Leadership Simplified

Doug is a leadership and sales consultant, executive coach, strategic planner, and darn nice guy. He has appeared on numerous radio and television business programs, including CBS Morning and ABC Nightly News. He is the author of Leadership Simplified—The Field Guide for Savvy Leaders.

Doug has also published over 100 articles and is one of only 760 people in the world to be recognized as a Certified Speaking Professional. He holds a BBA in Finance from Stetson University and an MBA from the University of North Florida.
