SmartStart4Kids

Each year, the FAIA Young Agents Council partners with local organizations across the state to host the SmartStart4Kids (SS4K) school-supply drive. The goal of the drive is to help give Florida students a smart start back to school in the fall. This year, the drive kicks off on July 15, 2026.

YAC has partnered with seven non-profit organizations across the state, each with local chapters, to make giving easy and safe. Each has provided an Amazon Wishlist, with items ranging from scissors and crayons to backpacks and math supplies. Join your Local chapter at their event to give in person and volunteer.

Fort Lauderdale Chapter

Join the Ft Lauderdale Chapter at Scolapasta Bistro on July 15 at 6:00 p.m. for their supply drive networking event. All donations benefit Sheridan House. Sheridan House is a multifaceted ministry dedicated to helping families through its Parenting On Purpose radio broadcast, Residential Boys’ Homes, Single Mom Ministry, and Counseling Centers.

Tampa Chapter

Join the Tampa chapter at AllStar Plaza on July 22 at 6:30 p.m. for their supply drive networking event. All donations benefit Voices for Children. Voices for Children provides stability, safety, and a sense of home by ensuring children in foster care have a caring and consistent person to be there for them and by providing resources to fulfill their needs.

Jacksonville Chapter

Join the Jacksonville chapter at VyStar Ballpark on August 13 at 6:30 p.m. for their supply drive and networking event. All donations benefit the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation. The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation is an after-school and summer youth development program in Jacksonville's Urban Core that promotes academic achievement and positive life skills.

Palm Beach County Chapter

Join the Palm Beach County chapter at Fun Depot on July 23 at 6:00 p.m. for their supply drive and networking event. All donations benefit the Mountaineer's School of Autism. The Mountaineer's School of Autism provides a personalized, supportive, and challenging educational environment that fosters the growth of each child across academic, social, emotional, and functional domains.

Team Purple: Zones 5, 7

All donations benefit Backpack Buddies OC. Backpack Buddies OC's mission is to eliminate food insecurity for children and families in West Volusia by providing meals to school-aged children in need and their families, keeping families whole, and allowing children to achieve their highest level of academic success.
