Each year, the chair of FAIA’s Board of Directors helps to select the theme for our annual Convention. Inspired by her passion to help people and grow their careers in the insurance industry, Chair Karyn Roeling shares her thoughts on her pick for this year’s theme in a message to members.    

The Road to Success: A Message from Your Chair  

I'm inspired by the power of connection and the pursuit of knowledge. As I reflect on my career, I’m grateful for the countless individuals who have supported and inspired me, many of whom I've met through FAIA. Throughout the years, I've learned that success is a journey, not a destination. It's a journey fueled by continuous learning, innovation, and strong relationships. 

I am excited to announce this year’s Convention theme, Innovate, Educate, and Insure: The Road to Success, because I believe it perfectly captures the essence of our journey. By embracing innovation, prioritizing education, and strengthening our relationships, we can pave the way for future success. 

This year, we'll explore innovative strategies, engage in insightful discussions, and connect with industry leaders, and together, we'll pave the way for a future filled with opportunities. I encourage you to join us on this journey as we innovate, educate, and insure our way to success. 

I'm honored to serve as your Chair for 2024-2025, and I look forward to seeing you at our 121st Convention in June.
