Brian Chapman, Jr., is the founder of Chapman Insurance Group, which was established in 2009 and has five locations serving communities across Southwest Florida. Under Brian’s leadership, the agency has become a trusted name in personal and commercial insurance.
Outside of work, Brian is deeply committed to his family and community. He and his wife, Julie, are proud parents of five children and actively support initiatives that strengthen families and enrich their local communities.

Ray Schackow is the managing partner and co-founder of Darr Schackow Insurance Agency in Gainesville, Florida. As a Gainesville, FL native, Ray has deep roots in the community. He began his insurance career as a scratch agent with Nationwide over 30 years ago. Since then, he transitioned from captive to independent, partnered with other agencies, and now has a staff of 60+ people with five locations across the State of Florida.
Ray has served on the Board of Directors of FMS and is a past chair. He is currently chair of the FAIA Finance Committee.
A graduate of Wake Forest University with a BS in Business, Ray, is married to Melanie Shore Schackow, a private banker. They have one daughter, Alison, who teaches first grade at a local elementary school.
In his spare time, he enjoys running, traveling, hiking, and playing pickleball.


Wadih El Khoury is the owner of Florida Insurance Agency, one of the Gulf Coast’s leading independent insurance agencies serving clients throughout Florida. Since joining the agency in 2001, he has helped grow the organization into a trusted resource for personal, commercial, flood, and specialty insurance solutions.
A graduate of the University of West Florida with a degree in Computer Science, Wadih combines technology, automation, and data-driven strategies with a passion for protecting families and businesses. He is actively involved in advancing the insurance industry through innovation, operational excellence, and advocacy efforts across Florida.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Wadih is deeply committed to serving his community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Escambia County Sheriff’s Foundation, the Sacred Heart Foundation, and Capstone Learning Academy. He is also a founding member of Wine on the Water Pensacola and has served as vice chair and chair of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA) Legislative Committee, helping advocate for consumers and insurance professionals throughout the state.
Wadih and his wife, Elena, are proud parents of twin daughters, Kylie and Kaia. Having moved to Pensacola in 1999, he has dedicated both his professional and personal life to strengthening the Gulf Coast community. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and enjoying life on the water.

Julie Levine is Vice President of Harry Levine Insurance, a second-generation independent insurance agency serving Florida businesses and families. Since entering the insurance industry in 2007, Julie has been passionate about helping agencies embrace technology, improve operations, and create exceptional client experiences.
Julie and the HLI team have been actively involved with FAIA since the agency became independent in 2008. She is a strong advocate for the independent agency channel and is committed to supporting the growth, professionalism, and long-term success of Florida's independent agents.
Widely recognized for her expertise in agency technology and operations, Julie has been an educator and speaker at Applied Net for many years, sharing practical strategies that help agencies leverage technology to improve efficiency, strengthen client relationships, and drive business results. She is passionate about fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and helping insurance professionals adapt to an evolving marketplace.
As a member of the FAIA Board of Directors, Julie looks forward to helping advance the association's mission, championing innovation, and ensuring Florida's independent agents have the resources and support they need to thrive.
