Struggling to choose a major? Consider pursuing a degree in Risk Management and Insurance! The insurance industry offers endless benefits, but most people aren't fully aware of them.

Here are five reasons why anyone considering switching their major or graduating from "undecided" status should consider a career in the insurance industry. 

Reason #1: Insurance is commonly viewed as an “evergreen career,” meaning it typically offers excellent job security! Research shows that positions for insurance professionals will grow by six percent from 2021 to 2031, with approximately 32,900 new jobs each year. 

Reason #2: The insurance industry is not going anywhere. From businesses of all sizes to families and individuals, insurance affects almost everyone. Fun Fact: In a recession, the insurance industry tends to be more stable than other job fields.
