Agency Membership
The Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA) serves the needs of Florida independent insurance agents and consumers by promoting a healthy and competitive insurance environment. Leading the way for more than 100 years, FAIA’s membership comprises about 2,000 member agencies, representing nearly 20,000 insurance professionals.
Agency membership is available to all independent insurance agencies licensed by the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) and operated in the American Agency System (must represent more than one insurance company). Member agencies are affiliated with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, Inc. (IIABA). All agency staff members are considered members at the state and national level. Trusted Choice membership is included in Agency membership.

FAIA also offers an Associate Membership to insurance companies, vendors of insurance-related products, out-of-state wholesalers, or those who are not otherwise eligible for agency membership.
