Young Agents Council Subcommittees

The Young Agents Council (YAC) consists of a group of appointed leaders and several active subcommittees.

Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Subcommittee is dedicated to building the future of the independent insurance industry by engaging with high school and college students across Florida. Through career fairs, classroom presentations, partnerships with Risk Management & Insurance (RMI) programs, and the INVEST program, members help introduce the next generation to rewarding careers in insurance.

Events
The Events Subcommittee works alongside local Young Agent chapters to develop engaging networking, educational, and community service events throughout Florida. Members assist with brainstorming new event ideas, coordinating logistics, and supporting on-site execution to create meaningful opportunities for young professionals to connect and grow.

Programming
The Programming Subcommittee is responsible for shaping the educational experience for Young Agents. Members collaborate to identify relevant topics and speakers for virtual trainings, develop the agenda for the annual Sales & Leadership Conference, and contribute ideas for the YAC newsletter.

Political Advocacy
The Political Advocacy Subcommittee promotes awareness of legislative issues affecting Florida's independent insurance agents while encouraging member involvement in the political process. The committee supports PAC fundraising efforts, assists with planning the annual Political Summit, and helps educate members on key advocacy initiatives impacting the industry.

Membership
The Membership Subcommittee focuses on growing and strengthening the Young Agents community. Members assist with recruitment efforts, welcome new members into the organization, encourage engagement through personal outreach, and develop strategies to improve member retention and overall participation.
